Saving money is not the only reason to elope, but it’s a good one. So if you want a beautiful and meaningful ceremony and lots of good memories, but don’t have much of a budget, here are a few options to consider for cheap elopement packages across America.
Edward Harris House Bed and Breakfast is located in Rochester, New York. Their "Secret Elopement Package” is only $595 Sunday through Thursday or $695 Friday and Saturday. For this package, you are not required to stay overnight, but once you see this inn, you will probably want to!
The whole thing takes approximately one hour from start to finish. Your package includes a ceremony (held between the hours of 1 and 4pm) a non-denominational officiate to preside, an Italian wedding cake for two, bridal bouquet and non-alcoholic champagne for the toast.
The “Mums the Word” elopement package involves a little more, but is still under $999 even on weekends! You check in at 1pm for your 3pm ceremony. Relax and get ready in your luxury suite with fireplace. One night is included in the package along with flowers and chocolates, and all the details of the “Secret” package (above). In addition, you will receive a gourmet breakfast delivered to your suite the next morning, and a $50 gift certificate to use for a return stay. You may just want to celebrate your first anniversary there!
Galena is a gorgeous little weekend “getaway” town on the western edge of Illinois, about three and a half hours from Chicago. The Cloran Mansion Bed and Breakfast is a Victorian inn located there and offers a great elopement package called “our Day Has Come”. For $400, you get officiant, witnesses, photos on CD, bouquet, champagne, keepsake flutes and a wedding cake for two. Cost of your room, suite or cottage is extra, but prices start at about $100 depending on the day.
The Chesterfield Inn's Elopement Package for only $500 includes a bouquet for the bride, a small cake, sparkling wine toast, a three-course dinner for two at the inn, and a wedding officiate. For an additional fee, you may choose to honeymoon at the Chesterfield Inn and treat yourselves to a romantic fireplace suite with double whirlpool tub and private balcony.

Lovettsville Virginia is a tiny little town in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. And its romantic name and scenery make it another good options for a cheap elopement. The Stone Manor Bed and Breakfast has an affordable elopement deal for $750 during the week, and $1000 on the weekend.
It’s called the “Essential Intimate Package” and includes up to 12 guests. You get a welcome basket on arrival full of all kinds of lovely souvenirs and bath products. You also receive two night’s accommodation in the honeymoon suite and a (huge) wedding breakfast each morning. Your ceremony will be in the parlor, outside in the gardens, or in the Stone Manor Hall in front of the fireplace. You will also have accessibility to the library or parlor to use as reception area.
If you love the architecture and history of the South, perhaps historic Savannah Georgia is more your style. The Eliza Thompson House Elopement package might be the one for you.
Eliza Thompson House is on a lovely residential street and has that true Savannah “feel” to it. You just have to arrange to get your marriage license and they will do the rest. Note however, that ceremonies are not done on Saturdays, and the time options are between noon and 2:30 pm only.
Elopements are priced at a very economical $759, which gets you an officiant, a champagne toast and a romantic room for two nights, as well as breakfast each morning. Have an intimate ceremony in the parlor or the garden courtyard outside. No one will know how much money you saved!
Casa de Solana Elope Packages starting at $159 - if simple and quick is what you want (without an overnight stay), you'll find the in-and-out elopement packages at the St. Augustine's Casa de Solana custom made. For just $159, you may have a lovely parlour ceremony just for the two of you, and be on your way. An additional fee allows for 1 or 2-hour use of the pergola or courtyard, a small wedding cake and sparkling beverage toast, as well as up to nine guests.
The $799 elopement package is for just the bride and groom, but they may bring along 2 guests who are not staying overnight. The package includes a 2-night stay in your choice of room, stocked with sparkling beverage, bath-pleasures basket and flower arrangement. You also receive the services of a wedding officiate, a ceremony in the beautifully landscaped courtyard, jasmine-covered pergola, or parlor (in case of rain), and a sparkling beverage toast. Then you’ll be off to Collage Restaurant for a celebratory dinner for two.

Eureka! How about eloping in Eureka Springs, a little Victorian mountain village in the Ozark Mountains? And what could make it even more interesting? Maybe a “treehouse cottage” nestled into the forest. What a unique setting for your elopement!
The Treehouse Cottages in Arkansas has a budget elopement package just for you.
From May to October, $325 (plus the cost of your cottage) gets you an ordained minister, wedding coordinator, wedding cake, flower centerpiece, champagne, music (on CD) and a lovely ceremony in the garden. Waterfall, goldfish pond and flowered archway provide a beautiful setting. If you wish to include up to six guests to this package, add $50 to the price.
Have the service performed in your cottage, without any guests, and the package price drops to $275. This option is great for when the weather is less than perfect.
Note however, that weddings are not performed on Friday or Sunday.
Tree house cottage prices vary from $149 to $169 per night plus tax and are up to 24 feet off the ground.
If you dream of eloping in the majestic Colorado Rockies, the town of Estes Park, a half mile from Rocky Mountain National Park might just be the wedding place for you.
There are two inexpensive elopement packages available at Wildwood Inn. These packages however are considered “add-ons” to your room or suite price.
The first is called “Short and Sweet Elopement” and the cost is $345. You get souvenir wine glasses and a complimentary beverage on ice upon arrival, a wedding cake for two and a bouquet and boutonniere. The ceremony is just for the two of you, and can be held on the mountain, next to Fall River or any other spot that appeals to you.
The “Intimate Mountain Elopement Package” is $619 and includes all of the above, plus a bridal hair up-do at the onsite day spa and a ceremony for up to four people. You also get two half-hour massages in your suite as well as dinner (up to $65) at one of the local restaurants.
A wide selection of rooms and suites are available at Wildwood and range in price depending on size, time of year and day of the week. The Aspen Suites are the most economical option at less than $150 per night for two people. They are very spacious and feature fireplaces and full kitchen.
Blisswood B&B Texas Elopements from only $699 - for a quiet and serene start to married life, consider eloping in the beautiful Texas countryside. Bring along a few friends and family members if you wish, and stay in one of the little B&B houses or at the Blisswood Oasis. This 650-acre ranch is a beautiful setting for your vows, and photographs whether you choose the gazebo on the lake, in the gardens, or near the waterfalls. And continue your stay at the secluded honeymoon cabin with Jacuzzi tub.
And not everything in Texas has to be big, because the Blisswood's basic elopement package is just for the two of you and the price is a very affordable $699. You get a lovely ceremony with a minister at the Enchanted Lake gazebo, a bouquet and boutonniere, a small wedding cake, a bottle of champagne and two souvenir glasses, and dinner for two at nearby Carol’s restaurant.

Finally, we have the State of California, which is also a good place to book a cheap elopement, and still have a beautiful and memorable day. One of the cheapest places to elope in the Sunshine state is the Kaleidoscope Inn and Gardens in Nipomo on the California Central Coast. Since it’s between Sand Francisco and LA and only two hours West of Fresno/Bakersfield, it's a convenient location for many.
Weather in Nipomo is ideal for outdoor ceremonies right through Spring and Summer and even well into the month of October.
The Kaleidoscope Inn and Gardens is a Victorian garden setting on one acre of flower gardens, complete with gazebo and many other appealing features. A midweek elopement package is available on Tuesdays, Wednesday or Thursdays. The Bronze Package is $650 and includes two hours use of the lovely gardens. You get one hour for preparation, and one hour for the ceremony and photos. You also get the minister and music for your ceremony. You may add up to eight guests to this package for an additional $200.
So there are many options across the Continental United States for an inexpensive elopement. Always keep in mind that legal marriage requirements vary from state to state and even from county to county. So plan in advance and do your groundwork!
